The Resulta game from Hape has lots of different ways that it can be played. The first game is to choose a set of three cards that belong together; the child should then be encouraged to place the cards into order of what came first, second and third, take this game further and encourage the child to explain why this would be the right order.
 
Next, you can shuffle a few of the sets of cards and allow your child to choose and arrange the cards into the sets themselves. Once the child has mastered this, a memory game can then be played by arranged a few of the sets face down and trying to selected all the cards in one set by remembering where they are are.
